The NextLevel LVL-10 Brewer is designed to make great coffee more consistent, more approachable, and easier to brew.

Its carefully engineered dispersion cap promotes even saturation while controlling water flow and agitation. Combined with a wide, flat, no-bypass brew bed, the LVL-10 encourages more uniform contact between water and coffee, helping deliver even, high extractions with balance, sweetness, and clarity.

The design was inspired by researcher and astrophysicist Jonathan Gagné’s 2020 research and writing on bypass in conventional cone-shaped drippers and pour-over brewing. The LVL-10 takes this concept further by giving brewers greater control over one of the key variables in extraction: how water moves through the coffee bed.

The result is a brewer that delivers remarkably consistent and flavourful cups with minimal effort—making high-quality brewing accessible to both curious beginners and experienced coffee enthusiasts.

ABOUT NEXTLEVEL

Inspired by Jonathan Gagné’s research on bypass in pour-over brewing, coffee roasters and tinkerers Darren Schmidt and Richard Unruh began experimenting with zero-bypass brewing.

Together with engineer Brandon Schmidt, they developed the LVL-10 Brewer, followed by the ultra-versatile Pulsar Dripper, with input from Gagné himself.

Today, NextLevel is focused on one goal: giving coffee lovers greater control over extraction to brew more consistent, balanced, and exceptional coffee.
